Interested in becoming an umpire? GCYBSA is in need of umpires.
Umpires must be 14 years or older. Game times are 6 pm and 8 pm. Umpires must have their own catcher's equipment for protection when calling balls and strikes behind home plate.
If interested, please email Dave Jacek, our Umpire in Chief, at [email protected] with your name and email address. Dave will set you up in our Arbiter system. Arbiter is our scheduling system that allows umpires to mark their availability and for Joe to assign them to games. Arbiter is also the system that Joe will send emails regarding our Umpire Training Clinic held in April.
